A successful company is one that is well managed and constantly evolving. In this minor you will learn how to manage a large-scale company and how to integrate data from marketing, logistics, finance and sustainability. We do this with a competitive game; the “Management Game”.
What is it?
In this minor you learn how to manage a large-scale company by integrating data from marketing, logistics, finance and sustainability. Through a “Management Game”, a realistic, competitive simulation and by working on a real business development project for a (agri‑food) company, you act as an advisor and develop a detailed business plan for growth.
Who is it for?
This minor is aimed at bachelor students in their 3rd or 4th year. Admission may involve additional entrance tests or interviews.
How does it work?
- Over the course of 30 ECTS, you engage in a combination of: management games, case studies, group projects, interviews, lectures and assessments.
- You collaborate with real companies (often in the agri‑food sector) and act as a consultant analyzing data, applying decision tools, and working out strategic business proposals.
- You learn to use management‑information systems (e.g. Excel-based tools), perform cost & investment analyses, define marketing strategies, evaluate supply-chain / quality issues, and even draft HR and sustainability policies for (international) businesses.
How to apply
You apply via the programme’s application portal. After your application, there may be an entrance test or interview. Once admitted and approved, you will receive your registration confirmation. This minor is taught in English, and consists of 30 ECTS.
