What is it?
You have an idea or proposition and assumptions about who needs it, why they need it and how they behave. But assumptions alone will not tell you whether you are on the right track.
During the Customer Validation Track, you learn how to test those assumptions with real potential customers or users. You move from “we think” to “we know” by conducting meaningful customer interviews and using the insights to determine your next steps.
Who it’s for:
- Entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs with an idea or proposition.
- Those who want to test their assumptions with real potential customers or users.
- People ready to move from assumptions to evidence and make informed decisions about their next step.
How does it work?
- Participate in three practical sessions, guided by experienced business coaches.
- Friday 13 Nov, 09:00–12:00: assumptions, hypotheses and your interview guide
- Monday 23 Nov, 09:00–12:00: practising customer interviews and reaching the right people
- Friday 18 Dec, 10:00–12:00: results, learnings and next steps
- Identify your most important assumptions and turn them into testable hypotheses.
- Create an interview guide that helps you uncover actual customer behaviour rather than socially desirable answers.
- Practise your customer interviewing skills through role-playing.
- Learn how to find and approach the right potential customers or users.
- Conduct customer interviews and test your assumptions in practice.
- Analyse and interpret your findings together.
- Translate your learnings into clear next steps for your business or proposition.
